We were recently awarded a 3-year contract by Erie 1 BOCES to become an approved vendor for SEL products to be offered as a service by the Western New York Regional Information Center (WNYRIC), with offices at Erie 1 BOCES, for their regional school districts. In collaboration with our BOCES and RIC partners, we are hopeful that this award will allow us to work with districts across NYS to support their MTSS and SEL efforts. More information related to the scope of this agreement is provided below.
This RFP will allow Erie 1 BOCES to negotiate a 3 year cross state contracts for the New York State Instructional Technology Contract Consortium BOCES members. Those members currently include Regional Information Centers: South Central (BT BOCES), Mohawk (Madison-Oneida BOCES), Greater Southern Tier, Central New York (OCM BOCES), Northeastern (Capital Region BOCES), Monroe #1, EduTech (Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES), Mid Hudson (Ulster BOCES), Nassau, Western New York (Erie 1 BOCES), Eastern Suffolk, and Lower Hudson (Southern Westchester BOCES); or any of the following BOCES: Cayuga Onondaga, ONC, Questar III, Dutchess, Monroe #2, Oneida Herkimer Madison, St. Lawrence, Sullivan County, Washington Warren Essex Hamilton, CiTi, Orange Ulster, Delaware Chenango Madison Otsego, TST BOCES, Rockland, Putnam/Northern Westchester and Western Suffolk which would incorporate all of the school districts under those BOCES. This does not pertain to the Big Five school districts in New York State.
This RFP will also be used for a three-year, cross state contract that allows BOCES and RICs that have joined the New York State Instructional Technology Contract Consortium to utilize the contract. Renewals would take place annually based on the agreement. This means that most of the 700 school districts in NY state will have access to the contract if awarded.
